Grand Arbre was born from a desire for simplicity with depth. In an overcrowded market full of fast fashion and short trends, we chose timeless elegance and substance. Our first step was modest: a capsule collection of carefully selected essentials. Soon, one silhouette stood out — the loafer. Unassuming in its simplicity, but grand in its appearance and wearing comfort.

What started as an experiment became the beginning of an obsession: the perfect loafer.

With that focus on the loafer, our journey began through tanneries, producers, and craftsmen. In 2020, we first used unlined calf suede — light, breathable, and naturally supple. We tested dozens of variants for fit, durability, and finish.

The goal: a loafer that you can wear immediately, without break-in time, without compromises. What followed was the first true Grand Arbre loafer: a silhouette that looks stylish and feels effortless.

In 2022, we opened our studio in Amsterdam — a creative space where ideas are translated into prototypes and where every new detail is refined with care.

From the sole construction to the cut of the upper: every millimeter is weighed for comfort, aesthetics, and wearability. Here, samples are tested, colors are selected, and customer feedback is transformed into iterations.

The studio is our epicenter — where the Grand Arbre loafer takes shape.

In 2024, we made a radical choice: Grand Arbre would focus exclusively on one product. No trousers, no shirts. Only loafers — in various styles, materials, and colors.

Thanks to this focus, we can improve down to the smallest detail. Each pair is handcrafted in Europe, in small batches, based on the highest standards. Our supply chain is transparent, our choices are deliberate.

Grand Arbre did not become a shoe brand. It became a loafer house.
